Manufacturing stages:

Cut the light ribbon into pieces 20 cm long, and the dark ribbon into elements 17 cm long. The first will be the bottom layer of the bow petals, the second will be the top layer.
Each piece is folded in half to form a petal. Then the petals are attached with thread or glue, four in a cross, and two “crosses” are folded together to form flowers of eight petals.
The resulting two flowers are superimposed on each other so that the edges of the lower light one protrude evenly from under the edges of the upper one.
A thin strip of lace is folded into a figure eight and attached to the center of the flower. You can make 2 stripes, creating a third delicate layer of petals of a multi-layer bow flower.
From the remains of the light ribbon, 6 wedge-shaped petals are folded, and the resulting flower is attached to the top of the lace. To fold such a petal, a piece of thin tape, 2 centimeters long, is folded diagonally, and then the tips are applied to each other. If desired, the petals can simply be cut with scissors to create an oval shape by melting the edges of the ribbon with a match.
The last stage is decorating the center of the flower with beads or rhinestones. You can decorate the petals of the first and second layers of the flower with glitter, then the bow will turn out even more elegant.

Then you need to start bending the first petal from the front side outwards along the line of the ribbon.
Bend the ribbon, cut off the corner so that you get a long and sharp corner of the petal, then melt the edge.
Fold the opposite edge of the tape with the wrong side out and fasten it together with a heat gun or sew it together.
Process all pieces of tape in this way. Having finished all the petals, collect them into a lush flower. To do this, cut a circle of felt with a diameter of 2.5 cm.
Stepping back about 1 cm from the edge, glue the first petal.
Glue the next petals to the end of the circle using the same method.
After the first circle is completed, glue the second one in the same way as the first one, but place the petals closer to the center so that their corners are located between the petals on the first layer.

thin metallized silver ribbon 105 cm long;
a piece of white or pink felt;

scissors;

bead or half-bead for decorating the middle;
thermal gun or Moment glue;
candle or lighter.

Let's start step by step.

From a pink ribbon 5 cm wide, cut 6 ribbons of 17 cm each. We singe the ends.

We connect the ends into loops. We string them one by one on a thread, tighten them and form a bow.

We cut the white tape into 6 pieces of 16 cm each.

We process the edges using fire, having previously formed loops. We string the parts onto a thread and tighten.

We cut the nylon tape into pieces of 15 cm in the amount of 6 pieces.

We fold the chiffon parts into loops, singe them with fire and form a bow, as in the previous paragraphs.

We cut a thin silver ribbon into 6 pieces of 16 cm each and glue them into loops, pre-processing the ends.

Now you can start assembling the bow. We glue or stitch the layers one by one in a checkerboard pattern: the bottom layer is made of a wide pink satin ribbon, then a white blank, with silver petals glued onto it. The final layer at this stage is made of nylon flower. This is how it turns out.

From a pink ribbon 2.5 cm wide, cut 27 strips of 6.5 cm each. We form kanzashi.

We string the blanks onto a thread and roll them into a roll, forming a flower. We sew the middle. Experienced needlewomen can glue the roll together during the assembly process. Glue in the middle. We glue the entire flower into the blank.

Turn the workpiece over. Using a heat gun, glue a felt circle on the wrong side. We attach a clasp to it.

You can make a bow with an elastic band; it can be a great decoration for celebrating the first year.

A piece of about 3 meters should have remained from the 5-centimeter tape. This will serve as the binding for the baby envelope. We cut the edges of the tape, as shown in the photo, and singe them.

The time of year when the child was born is also worth considering when choosing an envelope. If it is winter, you need to insulate the transformable blanket, and you can decorate it with natural or decorative fur. If it’s summer, then you need to buy light but natural material, and you can decorate with anything.

We are expecting a new addition to our family and I decided to sew a warm autumn discharge envelope for the newborn myself. Sewing such an envelope is quite simple, you just need to cut out the desired shape from the fabric, sew zippers on the sides and make a hood. Having chosen the color you like, you can sew such an envelope yourself in a couple of evenings.

To make such an envelope we will need: fabric for the top layer (I used raincoat fabric, it doesn’t blow), padding polyester (insulation), warm fabric for the inner layer (I used velsoft, very soft and pleasant to the touch), 2 zippers 50-60 long cm, Velcro. I bought fabric in 0.5 m pieces with a width of 1.5 m.

From all three layers we cut out identical parts according to this pattern; you don’t have to cut off the sides at the top (you’ll get an envelope measuring approximately 40x70(75)cm).

Along the edges we sew together a layer of insulation and raincoat fabric (this will make it easier to sew in a zipper).

Sew the remaining fabric along the sides, folding the edges. We sew the hood by bending the edges of the top into a triangle (first one and then the other layer), you can cut off the resulting upper corner of the hood. When unfolded, our envelope looks like this.
