    • Skinwall is a thin bead with a high cord density, which has a significant layer of rubber only at the point of contact of the tire with the rim.

    To secure the tire to the rim, use a beading cable made of steel (clincher tires) or Kevlar (folding tires) threads. The first variety can only be stored in its natural state, while the second can be folded like an accordion, thereby reducing the storage volume. In addition, folding tires have less weight.
