The material is mostly soft and bright, there are quite a lot of ideas. Often used:

On cardboard we draw a blank for the sole of a felt boot. We cut it out and transfer it to a piece of foam plastic. We cut out the foam in the shape of the sole and cut off a place from it in the heel area where the cup is planned to be located.
Use a knife to round the nose of the felt boot and begin assembling the craft. Glue a sock onto a cardboard sole and place a cup in the form of a boot. If you are going to glue with a gun, then do not set the temperature to high, as this may cause the foam to melt.
We mask unevenness and transitions with cotton wool.
We try on the fabric by stretching it over the felt boots. It can be temporarily secured using clothespins. We cut off the excess and begin gluing the fleece onto the workpiece. At the top of the boot, leave an allowance of 1.5-2 cm for the hem.
Sew the back seam with thread. We drape the fabric beautifully at the front and also sew it together. Don't forget about the allowance at the bottom to wrap it over the sole.

Before the New Year 2022, there is still time to make your own souvenirs, which are always more heartwarming than store-bought ones. And they may become the most popular ones - Santa Claus's shoes. Why? Because this is not only an attribute of a recognizable New Year's hero, but also a kind of packaging for sweets.

Making such a shoe is not difficult.

For this we will need the following materials:

2 sheets of white felt (fleece) or any non-flowing material for the sole

So, we have decided on the color of our souvenir, and we begin to make New Year's gifts from sweets with our own hands.

First, from the middle of a plastic bottle with straight walls, we cut out two parts of the shoe base: the bottom and the pipe.

If you take a larger bottle, the shoe will also be larger.

On the cardboard, next to each other, draw two circles with a pencil - this will be the sole. We add sidewalls to the figure eight on the sides to make the sole realistic.

Then we cut out and glue black felt onto the sole.

Felt can be replaced with thick paper or cardboard with a pattern.

Next we decorate the high part of the shoe. Cut a strip of white felt with a height twice as long as the height of the plastic pipe and a length equal to the circumference.

You can cover only the outside of the shoe with felt, but the decorated inside will look more aesthetically pleasing.

Using universal glue, glue the felt along the bottom: outside and inside. The imperfections along the edge will then be removed under the tape.

For the toe of the shoe, cut out a circle from white felt.

The diameter of the circle should be one and a half times larger than the diameter of the bottom of the bottle.

We collect the material along the edge with a “forward needle” seam and tighten it, securing the thread.

The shoe parts - the sole, toe and heel parts - are ready.

For beauty, we glue a piece of felt under the heel.

You can paste a congratulations card inside.

Then we glue the two upper parts to the base - the sole - using hot glue.

Now we decorate the shoe with braid around the circumference of the top, the joining seam at the top and around the sole.

For a New Year's shoe, decor in the form of snowflakes would be appropriate: you don’t have to skimp on them and “draw” even a blizzard with snowflakes!)

And now the fun part - decorating the finished structure. It should be fluffy in order to collect the two upper parts into a single whole. You can take a ready-made composition, or you can make decoration options from individual elements. Tinsel, small balls, and beads will look great here.

We attach everything with hot glue.

Now we apply glue inside the bottle along the edge and glue a piece of white fabric, approximately 35-40 cm wide. We bend the fabric outward and it is already possible to estimate the appearance of the future product.
We make the nose of the boot from the bottom of a bottle. We cover it with red fabric and sew it on, tightening it in the form of a bag.
Apply glue around the base of the sock and shaft and glue the parts to the finished sole. The blank is ready, all that remains is to decorate it.
We seal the joints with openwork braid. We also glue it along the perimeter of the edge of the white fabric. It is possible to attach a bell and a couple of spruce branches or glue a holly with ribbons and bells. Decorate as your imagination dictates.

The color of the boot does not have to be red, make it blue, like for the Snow Maiden, or green, like for the elf. If the size allows, you can put a bottle of champagne in the boot, which will create a beautiful and original stand.

Decorative boots

According to legend, it was in a sock left by the fireplace that St. Nicholas left coins that helped the girls who lived in the house get married. Since then, it has been customary for Catholics to hang decorative boots at Christmas. In Russia, Catholic Christmas is not celebrated, so the custom gradually transferred to the New Year.

From cardboard

Cardboard is the simplest material from which crafts are made in kindergarten to hang on the Christmas tree or give to parents. MK suggests improving the craft a little.

The template is made from plain paper and transferred to cardboard.
The template is covered with fabric.
Cotton is stuffed under the fabric to create the appearance of volume.
A loop of twine is secured to the back of the workpiece.
The working elements of the back side are hidden under a layer of fabric. The excess is cut off.
The boot is stylized as a rustic felt boot, so the decor is twine and burlap.

From foamiran

Materials:

red foamiran,
cardboard,
toilet paper sleeve,
foam ball.

Glue or a glue gun and a hot iron will come in handy. It is better not to apply hot glue to polystyrene foam. The ball may become deformed.

For the base, take a toilet paper roll and half a foam ball for a sock. The latter can be replaced with a crumpled napkin or cotton wool.
A semicircle is cut out on the sleeve so that part of the ball fits inside. About a centimeter is cut off from the top so that the boot is proportional.
A strip of foamiran is glued onto the sleeve.
To cover the ball with foamiran, the material is heated with the matte side on the surface of a hot iron. It becomes flexible and holds its shape well. The cooled foamiran is glued and the excess is cut off.
The time has come to place the boot and toe on the sole.
The decorative sole can be glued on top of the rough sole or the blanks can be glued together first and then attached to the boot.
One of the edging options is foamiran of a different color.
Instead of fur, bulky white yarn is suitable for edging, but it must be applied in dense rows.
A couple more green branches and the boot is ready.

From beads

Materials: red and white beads, wire.

16 beads are placed on the wire at one end, the opposite end is passed through the first 8 and tightened.
Now 7 pieces are collected on one end, the second end of the wire passes through the last four beads.
The next 4 rows, the ends of the wire pass through 4 beads. After each row, the wire is evenly stretched.
The top rows consist of 5 white beads each.
The ends of the wire are shortened to make it convenient to hide them. You can tie a loop on top and hang the boot on the Christmas tree.

From fabric

Material:

fabric for top and lining;
white fabric for lapel;
free-form pattern.

A boot can be not only a decoration, it can be sewn for a gift, a name can be embroidered, and a small surprise can be placed inside.

2 layers of lining material are laid sequentially on the table with the right side inward, then the top fabric in the same way. Cut out 4 layers at the same time.
The patterns are pinned and all layers are stitched at once.
Turn the work right side out. The seams remain between the layers.
For a loop, a piece of fabric 5x12cm is enough. The edges are folded inward and stitched.
White fabric 20 cm wide is folded in half, the width of the boot is measured and stitched at this distance with an allowance of 6 mm. The workpiece is turned out and folded in half.
The parts are smoothed with an iron and connected. A loop and lapel are placed inside the boot.
Secure the parts with pins and sew in a circle. All that remains is to turn the flap out and straighten it.

Patchwork

Materials:

pieces of fabric,
pattern paper,
colored threads,
beads,
braid.

Fabrics for crafts for the New Year are chosen in bright colors, plain or with ornaments. If you haven’t had time to master patchwork sewing, it doesn’t matter. You can divide the pattern into 3-4 large parts instead of 10-12 small ones.

The paper pattern is drawn into parts. First, they are divided into transverse strips with different slopes, then into 2 more unequal parts. The back side of the boot is cut out entirely from fabric.
Then the pattern is cut and small parts are cut out with a seam allowance of 0.5 cm.
Connect the parts in reverse order. First in a row, then in a whole canvas.
Along the face, the canvas is decorated with braid and decorative stitching.
When the sewing of the patchwork side is completed, the pattern is applied to adjust the shape.
At the last stage, the parts are sewn together, not forgetting the loop.

If desired, make a lining from any thin fabric using the same pattern. This product will be more voluminous.

Knitted

Crochet

Materials:

knitting yarn of red main color and white for binding;
sole made of plastic, cardboard, wood with holes around the perimeter;
hooks 6 and 7.

The tying of the sole begins with connecting posts. Hook 6. The photo below shows the side of the sole on which the shoe will stand.

The next row is knitted with single crochets. The thread, as in the previous row, is pulled through the holes. On the toe and heel parts, 3 evenly distributed increases are made.

The third row is simple stitches without adding, after which the sole will be completed. The thread is cut.

The tail of the thread is secured and brought inside. The first row above the sole is knitted with a white thread, which is brought out under the two loops of the upper braid, in single crochets. Hook 7.

The last loop is brought out through the initial one inside. The hook is inserted from the outside to pull out a new loop. Then both loops are connected, a lock is formed and the row is closed. Similar steps are repeated at the end of each row.

The second row is single crochets.

The third row is single crochet with red thread. In the toe part, count 6 loops in each direction from the center and knit with decreases. Leaving the loop on the hook, knit a double crochet loop. The hook is inserted into the split between the loops. Then three loops are knitted together. You should get 6 complex loops.

The fourth row is single crochet. The decrease in the toe part begins 2 stitches before the decreases of the previous row. You will get 5 complex loops.

Row 5 - similar to the fourth. You will get 4 complex loops. Row 6 has 2 complex loops. 7th row - 1 decrease, but with single crochets.

8th row - in place of the decrease, knit 2 single crochets. Row 9 without additives. 10 - similar to row 8. 11 - without additives, in 12 add 1 column in front, 1 in back. 13, 14, 15 rows without adding loops.

Row 16 - with white thread, alternating a loop from the split of the previous row with a loop from the split of the lower row.

Row 17, modeled after row 16. The 18th row is also knitted, but with red threads. The final row consists of connecting posts, after which the thread is cut and the tip is hidden in the fabric.

Knitting needles

Material: white and red wool blend thread, 3 mm circular knitting needles. All rows are done in garter stitch.

31 loops are cast on the knitting needles with white threads and 12 rows are knitted. Switch to red thread and knit 16 rows.

In the next row they begin to form the heel. To do this, knit 21 loops, unroll the knitting and knit 11 loops. On these 11 loops another 15 rows are knitted.

The last row of the protrusion is continued, putting on the loops of the side and reaching the end of the entire canvas. Then do the same in the other direction.

The top of the sock is ready and there are 47 stitches in total on the knitting needles.

Knit 10 rows.

Now you can start knitting the foot. 28 stitches are knitted in a row, then knit 2 stitches together. Unfold the knitting and knit 10 stitches and purl 2 together. Continue in this manner until there are 11 stitches left on the needles.

The back side of the boot is knitted in the same way, placing loops on the knitting needles on the back side of the fabric. The white loops are not touched.

Having finished the height of the main color, switch to white yarn, putting the side loops on the knitting needles. In the top row, the remaining 10 loops are closed.

Made from fleece

Materials:

children's rubber boots;
toilet paper;
cardboard;
colored paper;
red and white fleece;
PVA glue.

The rubber boot is given a more voluminous shape using rags and paper.
The rubber is covered with foil to make the shape easier to separate later. The toe of the boot is slightly raised using the same foil.
The entire side surface of the boot is covered with paper, soaking each sheet with glue.
After the 5-6th layer of paper and the top layer of thin fabric, you can send the shoes to dry.
The dried form is trimmed from above and removed by cutting at the back. Felt or other dense fabric is glued inside.
The back seam is glued and the boot is covered with bright fleece.
The sole is cut out of cardboard.
Gray cardboard is covered on both sides with colored paper.
