Make a photo cube with your own hands
Small anti-stress cubes are now available for sale.
A cube assembled in a special way can be rotated endlessly. But if you make it larger and stick photographs on it, you get a double effect, a real anti-stress. It especially delights children. Flipping through the photographs on the cube, it evokes warm feelings in adults. Before writing this article, just in case, I scoured the Internet in search of other options for assembling and sticking photographs. For various reasons, the order in which I viewed the photos did not quite work for me. And the way I want to share with you seems to me to be the most interesting. It loops and constantly returns to the first photo, holds 10 photos and is fairly easy to assemble.

I saw a similar miracle at some conference several years ago. True, there were smart thoughts on the faces of the cube. And now everyone is carried away by taking pictures on the cube.
And I made such a transforming cube as a gift to my dad, who is crazy about his great-grandchildren. Step-by-step MK.

You will need 8 cubes. I made 2 copies at once, so I bought two sets (6 and 12 cubes) and I still have 2 extra cubes left:
The average price of 1 plastic cube was 9.5 rubles.
I don't need pictures. I'm getting rid of them. There are two ways: you can heat the pictures with a hot hair dryer and remove them, or (as in my case, when the hair dryer did not help) soak them in hot water:
The cubes didn’t want to sink, so I pressed them for 15 minutes:
The papers peeled off on their own and fell to the bottom of the sink.
All that was left was to dry the cubes:

Therefore, they need to be opened, poured out water and then secured with tape:
For the photo cube you need to prepare 12 photos. 10 of them are square. My cubes have 4 cm sides, so 10 photos are 8x8 cm and 2 photos are 8x16 cm:

All I have to do is cut the photos:
And start collecting the cube. First, glue all the cubes together with tape, two at a time, interspersed with cardboard:
Then the cube was turned over and, as if on the other side, in the same place, a second layer of tape for strength (always laid with cardboard):
Then we connect the double cubes in pairs:
And we combine it into one design (don’t forget about the gaskets!):

Now let’s paste the photo. If you choose non-self-adhesive, you can attach it with suitable glue or double-sided tape.
Select the top photo (the transformer will open from it and, accordingly, will be looked at most often). Glue it. Then we glue the photo on the next three edges in the same direction:
Glue the photo on top and bottom in any direction:
Open the cube and glue the first long photo:
Unfold along the long side and glue the second long photo:
There are still two ends left for small photos. Glue it. All!
The cost of the transformer is 252 rubles: cubes - 76 rubles, photo printing with processing 150 rubles, adhesive tape 26. It’s great if you know how to process photos yourself and you have the opportunity to print them at home. Try to keep the cut lines away from your face. Scale, move, compose! Or change the photo.
