Many people will probably think that it is difficult to make such gifts on their own, but you are wrong. It turns out making paper roses is quick and easy. And step-by-step instructions and descriptions with pictures will help you with this.

Gorgeous roses

You will need: double-sided colored paper, a simple pencil, a sheet of paper, scissors, a glue gun, wire.

Master Class

Draw a spiral flower pattern with wavy lines on a piece of paper.
Cut the template from the edge to the center to create a spring.
Trace the template onto colored paper and cut out a colored spring.
Prepare a piece of wire for the stem.
Apply a drop of glue to the tip of the wire and wind the spiral, forming a bud.
Secure the bud with glue.
Make the required number of roses in the same way and form a bouquet.

Twisted rose with candy inside step by step

Twisted rose petals look spectacular. But the photos of the flowers are purple, pink and yellow. If you make the petals white, you won’t immediately understand whether they are real flowers. You might think the roses are real. But all this is the work of a skilled craftswoman.

Materials and templates:

colored corrugated paper (yellow, purple, pink, green);
green tape;
wooden skewers;
glue gun;
candies.

Step-by-step recommendations for independent work:

Cut out pieces measuring 7.5 x 5 cm from green paper. Cut with grass on one long side. Twist each blade of grass with your fingers.
Cut out pieces measuring 8.5 x 7.5 cm from pink, purple and yolk paper. Round the pieces on one side. The result was the petals of future twisted roses.
Glue candy to the skewers. Wrap the candy in petals. Glue the edges to the skewer. Twist one petal at a time around the skewer. Secure the edges with glue.
Then wrap the roses in the green detail. Use hot glue to secure.
Starting from the bud, wrap the skewer with tape.
Connect the flowers in your hand. Secure with tape so that the stems do not fall out of the bouquet.

You will need: orange and green colored paper, scissors, a simple pencil, glue.

Master Class

Fold the square of orange paper in quarters, then in half diagonally to form a triangle.
Cut a petal from the triangle and unfold the workpiece. You should end up with a flower with eight petals.
Prepare 4 pieces in this way.
Change each blank in this way: in the bottom (last, fourth) blank, cut off 1 petal, so that 7 remain. In the third blank, cut 2 petals, so that 6 remain. In the second blank, cut off 3 petals, so that 5 remain. In the first, topmost preparation - cut off 4 petals so that 4 remain.
Glue the blanks into cups so that the outer petals are glued together (on top of each other, completely overlapping). You should get cups of 3, 4, 5 and 6 petals.
Bend the petals of each blank using a simple pencil.
Assemble the bud and secure the pieces with glue.
Cut out leaves from green paper, fold them like an accordion, then glue them to the bud.

Delicate red roses a la “Tulips”

The master class is really similar to making tulips. Making similar flowers from corrugated or crepe paper is not difficult. To be honest, the roses you see in the photo of this master class were made by a six-year-old child. Except for cutting out the details and a few adjustments with the stems.

Materials for work:

caramel candies ("lemons" in the photo);
wooden skewers;
crepe paper of two colors (red, green);
PVA glue;
scissors;
white paper napkins (optional);
thin threads of any color (in the photo “floss”).

Step-by-step recommendations on how to make delicate red roses from crepe paper:

First, take care of the preparations. Attach sweets and caramels to the skewers. You can simply do this using threads. If you don't want to use candy, there is another option. Roll a ball from a white paper napkin. “Pack” in a piece of red crepe paper. Attach to the skewer. Twist and tie with thread. In the photo you will see two options - with candies and with paper. Which craft option to choose is up to you.

Cut strips of 7x4 cm from red paper. For one flower you will need 3 strips.

Estimate the middle of each strip by eye. Fold the strip and twist it so that the front becomes the back.

Fold the edges of the strip so that a petal of two layers emerges. The place of twist will become the top of the petal, and then the flower.

In your hands, spread both layers of the petal together. Stretch them a little with your fingers so that the curved side comes out.

Attach petals to the candy on a skewer. Place them overlapping each other. Fold the extreme side of the last petal under the first petal.

Twist the lower part of the petals and tie with thread.

Take the green paper. Cut small long pieces from it. Width about 1 cm, length about 4-5 cm. Glue to the base of the flowers.

Cut a thin strip of green paper about 2 cm wide. Twist it over a wooden skewer to completely cover it. At the same time, glue the strip with PVA glue. Literally two drops are enough - at the beginning and at the end of the stem.

You get these cute, delicate roses a la “tulips”.

You will need: pink and green corrugated paper, green adhesive tape, stick or wire for the stem, scissors.

Master Class

Cut out 5 drop-shaped petals and 15 heart-shaped petals from crepe paper.
Stretch the petals along the edges.
Wrap the stem with duct tape.
Form the bud this way: attach 5 drop-shaped petals, then 15 heart-shaped petals. The fastening process is carried out in a circle and is fixed with adhesive tape.

Let's talk about materials

When it comes to life-size flowers, you may not immediately believe that this beauty is created from paper. But the corrugated one has unusual properties - in the article on making small flowers we looked at them in detail. Let us remind you that for tall giants, crepe paper with a density of at least 120 g with A and B flute (folds 1.6 and 3.2 mm deep) is most suitable - this will allow the petals to keep their shape.

But! Not all life-size flowers are made from thick corrugated paper. There are models whose petals should bend, curl or fall freely. For these colors, thin paper is used.

These balls do not require thick paper; thin paper for children's creativity or marked fine crepe is also suitable.

To make large flowers, also prepare auxiliary materials and tools:

thick cardboard for the base;
scissors or knife for cutting blanks;
heat gun - large petals are easier to connect with hot glue;
wire for the stem frame;
round nose pliers for bending wire;
fabric, thread, cotton wool for filling the base or for combining materials;
foam balls or plastic containers as a base.

You will need: colored paper, ruler, scissors and glue.

Master Class

Cut a sheet of colored paper into strips of 1-5 cm. It is this point that determines the size of the future rose. In this master class, the width of the strip is 1 cm.
Bend the edge diagonally as shown in the photo.
Twist the rosette, changing the twisting position straight and diagonally depending on the shape of the workpiece.

Although paper roses are a budget decorative element, they are quite spectacular and, most importantly, exclusive. These are universal products that are suitable for transforming any interior.

If you use your imagination, you can endlessly list options where decorating with roses would be appropriate. These can be compositions in the form of bouquets, placed in ordinary vases or decorated according to your own ideas, decorating candlesticks, flower wreaths, beautiful decorations for gift wrapping, an unusual floral panel on the wall, birthday cards and other crafts.

In a private house, you can decorate stair railings or mirrors with garlands of paper flowers. And the festive table will acquire a certain zest if you place handmade roses on it.

Artificial roses are practically indistinguishable from natural roses in appearance, but they will delight you with their splendor for much longer. Therefore, it is worth learning this simple art, and the presented master classes will help with this.

A simple option for beginners

Paper roses

This paper rose craft is simple to make, but you'll have a lot of fun along the way. The resulting roses can be used both for decoration and as a gift. Everyone will love this gift.

We will make such roses according to a figured template. What you will need:

a sheet of paper and the thicker the better
paper glue
scissors
pencil
spectacular vase

Step-by-step instructions for action:

On a piece of paper, draw a spiral circle (everyone chooses the diameter at their own discretion)
Now cut the circle along the lines so that the result is a strip in the form of a spiral. The number of blanks will depend on the size of the future bouquet
Then we will twist the workpieces, starting from the outer edge. Only the twist should be as tight as possible
To prevent the bud from unwinding, secure the inner end with glue. Gently spread the petals with your fingers
When the rose is ready, proceed to cutting out the leaves. First draw them on paper. Glue the resulting leaves to the rose from below

How to make a spiral rose

All that remains is to plant the rose with leaves on a dry branch and place it in a vase. You can add as many of these decorated branches as you like.

If you want to make the spiral roses multi-colored, prepare paper in the appropriate colors in advance. Or, after completing the process, you can paint the white flowers with watercolor paint using a brush.

Similar flowers are made from cardboard or music paper.

Origami rose

You will need: double-sided colored paper, scissors, a simple pencil.

Master Class

Fold a sheet of colored paper diagonally as shown in the photo and cut off the excess strip to make a square.
Bend the square to create a second diagonal.
Fold the square in half to create lines like a snowflake.
Move the sides of the workpiece in this way: the top - from the right side to the left, and the bottom - from the left to the right, to form a triangle.
Fold all 4 tops over to the middle and run your fingers along the folds.
Expand the workpiece to a double triangle and bend the upper corner back.
Straighten the bud and bend the curved corner inward.
Gather the double corner back together and run your fingers along the folds.
Bring the 4 side corners up to the top.
Flip over, then fold each side in toward the middle. You should end up with a blank with a hole at the bottom.
Blow strongly into the hole from below to straighten the bud.
Curl the petals using a simple pencil.
Take the strip of paper you cut at the beginning.
Fold the stem and insert it into the bud.

These roses are used to decorate something or to use as crafts as gifts for family and friends. For 10 flowers you will need:

60 coffee filters
watercolor paint (2 different colors will be useful, for example, yellow and orange)
deep plates of water
9 cocktail straws
green electrical tape

Operating instructions:

1 Divide the filters into 3 groups for coloring in different shades: 10, 20 and 30 pieces

2 Dilute the paint in water. In the first cup, make a pale yellow tint, in the second - medium intensity, in the third - more saturated

3 Immerse the filters in the paint and leave them there for about half an hour until they are well painted. Then take them out and dry them

4 Arrange the blanks by shade

5 Fold the rounds into triangles and make cuts on top to end up with voluminous roses. Make a hole in the center of each filter

6 Assemble a bud, which will consist of six parts of different shades (1: 2: 3). Prepare the tube and tape immediately

7 Cut 4 strips of 5 cm long from electrical tape

Fastening other workpieces

10 To create a natural stem, wrap the tube with electrical tape along its entire length. Leaves can be cut from coffee filters and attached.

Any thin paper is suitable for making such roses. This could be napkins or toilet paper. Only you will need to first cut out round pieces from them.

Roses made of money

You will need: printed banknotes of any denomination, wire.

Fold the bill crosswise in the center.
Tuck the corners.
Tie the middle with wire.
Make 4 blanks this way.
Form a bud by connecting the blanks.
Wind up the wire blanks to form a stem.
Make the required number of roses.
Collect and arrange a bouquet.

Original roses

You will need: red colored paper, a simple pencil, scissors, a round object.

Trace a round object on colored paper.
Draw a spiral in a circle.
Cut out the circle.

Delicate roses for a bouquet with sweets

So that you don’t have any doubts, here’s another master class. You can create delicate roses from light corrugated paper yourself.

Materials:

corrugated paper of two colors (green, red);
scissors;
skewers;
toothpicks;
glue gun

Master Class:

Cut red or pink paper into rectangles, as in the photo.

Fold each rectangle in half. Trim for a smooth, rounded edge.

Spread the petals with your fingers. Take it in the middle of the petal and pull it to the sides. Then straighten the top of the petals.

Decorate the candy. Cut out one colored square. Insert a toothpick into the candy. Wrap the candy in a square piece. Secure with glue.

Apply glue to the petals. Glue the petals one at a time to the candy. Arrange them in a checkerboard pattern, like a real rose.

Cut out a piece of green paper. For one petal, cut 2 sharp triangles. Glue both triangles along the hypotenuse. Remember what a hypotenuse is? If not, it's time to remember the initial geometry course. I love her. Cut off the corners of the leaf. Glue a small thin strip in the middle. Voila! The first leaf came out. One rose will need 2-3 leaves.

Wrap a wooden skewer in green paper. Apply a thin strip in a spiral pattern so that the skewer is completely covered in color.

Glue the skewer to the toothpick that is attached to the flower. Cover the joint with green paper.

Cut a rectangle 5 cm wide by 3 cm from a strip of green paper. Fold it like an accordion, the step will be 1 cm. Cut off the corners with the top. Expand. The bottom edge will be untouched, the top in the form of grass.

Glue the grass piece around the bottom petals. Cut off the excess.

Next, watch master classes of a slightly different order. In them, blooming roses and buds are made of crepe paper. It is similar to corrugated, but not as flexible. It stretches less.

Huge rose

You will need: thick cardboard, corrugated paper, a simple pencil, scissors, thick wire, green floral tape, adhesive tape, glue.

Master Class

Draw or print the templates and transfer them to thick cardboard.
Cut out 15 heart-shaped petals and 5 droplet-shaped petals from corrugated paper (for one flower).
Shape the petals: stretch the hearts a little to the sides, and twist the droplets using a pencil.
Take 2 pieces of thick wire and wrap it with floral tape.
Glue a piece of crepe paper to the stem as a core.
Form a bud: glue droplets, then hearts, secure with adhesive tape.
Cut out a sepal from green crepe paper as shown in the picture.

You will need: yellow napkins, pencil, blue napkin, ribbon.

Master Class

Wrap the yellow napkin around the pencil.
Squeeze the napkin and pull out the pencil.
Make 6 of these blanks.
Form a rose from 6 petals.
Decorate with a blue napkin at the bottom of the flower.
Tie with a ribbon.

Giant roses

You will need: colored thick paper, a sheet of cardboard, scissors, glue.

Master Class

Create patterns for the petals: 6 large, 6 medium and 6 small.
Cut out the petals.
Make cuts at the base of the petals.
Curl the ends of the petals away from you.
Flip the petals over and glue the ends close to the cut, forming a natural petal shape.
Glue 6 large petals together in a circle.
Glue the middle petals, and then the small ones.
Glue a piece of cardboard to the bottom of the flower.
Fold the sheet in half and cut the “brush” from the fold side. Repeat this process with two more sheets.
Separate and unfold the cut sheets.
Roll the first leaf, then add the rest to create a core.
Glue the core to the center of the flower.

Red roses

You will need: red and green corrugated paper, scissors, wire, thread and glue.

Master Class

Cut a strip of red crepe paper 58cm long and 19cm wide.
Place them together, sides long, and apply glue to the underside (along the grain of the paper).
Glue the halves together.
Make a blank for the petals from cardboard. The template dimensions are shown in the image.
Fold a strip of red crepe paper like an accordion, attach a cardboard petal template and cut it out. One rose should have 15 petals.
Unfold the petals, making the top edge wavy and the bottom edge straight.
Wrap the first petals tightly around the wire, and the next ones more loosely, forming a rose.
Tie the petals with thread, securing them to the wire.
Make the sepals this way: take green corrugated paper 9 cm wide, 12 cm long. Cut cloves on one side 7 cm high.
Apply glue to the flat side of the sepals, then glue to the rose.
Cut petals 7 cm long, coat them with glue, insert a wire into the center and press the remaining petals.
Cover the wire on the petals with a strip of crepe paper, then screw it to the stem.
Make the required number of roses in the same way.

How to make a bouquet of roses with sweets: MK

For small rolled roses you will need small candies. Lollipops and sucking caramels are suitable. Alternatively, try making your own lollipop. Made from sugar and orange juice. Just a little citrus ball from a homemade caramel recipe. Wrap in cling film. And collect flower petals around the candy.

Materials and templates:

caramels;
corrugated paper, red and green;
wooden skewers;
scissors;
glue.

If you want to make a bouquet, take wrapping paper as well. You will collect the flowers you have made in it. Tie with ribbon.

Step-by-step recommendations for making flowers:

Cut out pieces measuring 8.5x7.5 cm from red paper. Prepare pieces measuring 7.5x5 cm from green paper.

Cut the red parts as shown in the photo. Turn the green ones into “grass.”

Glue the caramel to the skewer. Wrap with red paper piece. In this master class, you don’t even need to straighten the corrugated paper. The paper will fit perfectly over the candy. Glue the paper underneath.

Next, glue the “grass”. Wrap it around the rose. Secure the edge with glue.

For a bouquet, make 7 or 9 flowers.
