But returning to our topic, I would like to write a short review about Paola Reina dolls. This is for those who are just interested in this doll; for everyone else, you can scroll below and not read this paragraph.

There were no such dolls when I was a child! As children, my sister and I really loved playing with dolls and we had quite a lot of them, so I have something to compare with. I really liked Paola’s appearance, long and fluffy eyelashes, eyes that looked like real ones, velvety skin pleasant to the touch. In my opinion, the optimal size of the doll is 32 -33 cm. Not big and not very small. About the hair, I want to say that the structure of different dolls is different, the black ones are rough, but I took the one with long brown hair and it is very soft, like silk. The only thing is that probably all dolls turn out to be of different lengths, but this is all understandable. Initially, the length of the hair is taken the same, but when they are sewn on, they turn out at different levels, because the location of the back of the head, temples, bangs is different, so the length turns out to be different, but in my opinion this is not a critical drawback and besides, it can always be corrected if you trim your hair. But the hair is very thick and the doll will definitely never remain bald. The only significant drawback for me is that my doll doesn’t stand well, of course it can be placed, but sometimes you need to put in so much effort to do it. This is of course a big minus for photography. But we will learn how to get out of it. Paolok still has much more advantages. And finally, I’ll write about one more advantage that all Paolkas have - this is that they smell very pleasant, like vanilla).

To create a trouser pattern you will need: checkered paper, a simple pencil, a ruler, tape and a toothpick. All the main lines must be applied to the doll in advance. This will almost completely avoid mathematical calculations. All necessary measurements can be taken directly from the doll and transferred to the pattern. - Using scissors, create a neckline of the required shape and an armhole for a C-shaped sleeve, taking into account the overlap. Armholes need to be cut on both parts, the neckline depends on the shape.
- Finish the neckline with additional small oblong scraps so that the “raw” fabric is not visible.
- Sew the 2 pieces together near the neckline.
- Measure 2 semicircular flaps for the sleeves, process their edges according to the example of the neckline and sew to the armholes.
- It must be remembered that the last two steps must be performed only on the wrong side of the product, so that there are no seams or darts on its outside.
- Sew the remaining parts - the sleeves and sides of the T-shirt.
Now you can safely try on the outfit on your doll.
Sweater
Of course, crocheted clothes for Barbie look beautiful, this is what you need to create a sweater. Knitting miniature wardrobe items is quite difficult; crocheting is easier. For this you will need wool or acrylic threads; for the first time it is better to use plain ones. You should start from the top.
