Everyone remembers how funny clowns in childhood demonstrated miracles with their hands, bending and rotating long inflatable balls, turning them into different figures. It's time for us to be masters with dexterous hands. We will tell you about an interesting approach to decor for the New Year 2022: very soon you will have a Christmas tree made of balloons as your guest. With our own hands we will learn how to make a Christmas tree from round, long and different-sized balls.

Crafts made from natural materials

Crafts in the shape of a Christmas tree can be made not only in winter. Often, children in schools and kindergartens are asked to make crafts on a forest theme. Just in this case, you can use the idea of making a Christmas tree craft from pine cones and other natural materials.

Making a Christmas tree from pine cones is quite simple; for this you will need:

  • Cones of different sizes;
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue;
  • Scissors and cardboard.

Having prepared the materials, you can begin assembling the fragrant tree:

  • Cut out the round base of the future craft from thick cardboard;
  • Start gluing the cones to the base in a circle: use larger cones first;
  • Consistently reducing the size of the cones, glue row by row with glue, repeating the shape of natural wood;
  • Finish assembling the tree with the final cone, securing it in a vertical position.

This Christmas tree can be covered with spray paint or placed in a beautiful pot.

In addition to all the above execution ideas, a craft in the form of a Christmas tree can be made from salt dough, long unnecessary beads, feathers, wire and many other materials. You just need to show your imagination and try to use the most unusual things in your creativity.

How to create figures from balloons

It doesn’t take much time to decorate the shape of a spruce tree, especially if you have a hand pump for inflating balloons or a special compressor.

On the one hand, such a craft is safe: the child will not stumble upon the needles with his eyes, will not swallow them, and will not be scratched. On the other hand, with the ardor of a young explorer, a child can joyfully devour the original product

To make a figure you need a large number of balls of the desired color and diameter. The diameter is indicated on the packaging. From a reputable manufacturer, the balls are durable and will not burst at the most inopportune moment like an explosion.

Depending on the type and volume of the balloon, a New Year's figure is obtained

If balls in green colors are often chosen for the base, then any colors and shades are used for decoration.

The point of the work is to assemble a single figure from many inflated products. For coupling, they use the twisting method, tie the ends with tape or braid, and sometimes use double-sided tape.

The best ideas for creativity and decorating your home

A standard craft, a Christmas tree made of paper or colored cardboard, does not require much time and can be made with kids.

But more complex crafts with complex designs will look great in the interior and will require the use of various materials to create beautiful decorations:

  • festive tinsel and wire, from which you can form a Christmas tree of any size and decorate your house with it;
  • paper Christmas trees, the use of paper makes it possible to make three-dimensional Christmas trees or use the origami technique;
  • beads and beads, unusual wicker Christmas trees look great on a table or on a windowsill and even on a mantelpiece;
  • satin ribbons; to make a Christmas tree you will need to prepare individual elements from folded ribbons in advance;
  • sesal, jute and tulle, elegant and transparent materials are used to create voluminous and large crafts.

Such beautiful and stylish Christmas trees can be assembled into full-fledged compositions or arranged into installations that decorate the house.

Using simple techniques, you can choose other ideas that will become a real decoration for the holiday and will originally complement the atmosphere in the house, or serve as an exclusive decor for a work office or school classroom.

We assemble a Christmas tree from round balls of different diameters

The most typical Christmas tree is made from round balls.

Using different diameters from larger to smaller, you can assemble tier by tier

What do you need for work?

Let’s prepare a pack of green balls with a diameter of 5″ and 10″, modeling balls (preferably brown or green) size 260, and braid.

If you don’t want to inflate everything with your lungs, we include a hand pump in the working kit

How to collect a Christmas tree

If you act slowly, then in an hour or two there will be a gorgeous green (well, or the color your soul asked for) Christmas tree on the floor or table. So, first we inflate several balloons with a diameter of 10″. For each ball we make nine strokes with the pump.

We do not inflate the ShDM completely

We make eight small oblong bubbles by twisting the BDM around itself

We begin to attach the largest round balls. To do this, we wind the first ball between the bubbles. Then we immediately wind the second one. To make the fastening reliable, we will create another bubble on the grinder and twist it with the first ball.

We screw on a large ball one by one, make a bubble and twist them into a hitch. In total, we get eight large balls on the first row. We burst the rest of the long ball and twist it with large balls for reliability.

Let's repeat the same manipulations, with the difference that we will connect the tip of the grinder to the first row. The bubbles themselves on the ShDM should be round. We inflate round balloons for seven working strokes of a hand pump. We pass a ribbon between the first and second rows in a zigzag pattern for fastening and stability of the structure.

Let's make 8 smaller bubbles again.

We take balls with a diameter of 5″, for each we make 5 pump strokes. The third and fourth rows are assembled similarly to the first two

For the fifth tier we use 7 balls of the same size as in the previous row. In order to collect them, you first need to tie two balls together, trying to mark the knot at a decent distance from the balls.

We make a second such two and twist them together, getting 4 elements. There are three balls left - we will twist them into a bunch and attach them to the previous four. Using braid, we attach the hitch to the fourth tier.

We inflate five small balloons using four strokes of the pump and tie them together. Having connected two balls, we connect them to the fifth row. We also connect the remaining three with the fifth tier.

The seventh row is made from balls twisted together, inflated for only three pump strokes. We connect this one with the previous tier using braid. On the eighth row we inflate 4 balls for 2 moves.

To complete the work, we need one element for three pump strokes

Decorative Christmas tree made of balls for modeling

The beauty of the ShDM is its special flexibility and torsional form.

Using these characteristics and the presence of different colors, you can make a chic Christmas tree

What do you need for work?

We need 4 ShDM 260 green, 2 ShDM 160 gold or yellow, 1 ShDM 160 red.

Making an elegant Christmas tree

By following the instructions from the master class, very soon you will be able to put a beautiful, safe Christmas tree on the table.

IllustrationDescription of action

We inflate the green balloons, but not all the way - leave about 6 cm.

We take a green “sausage”, measure three fingers from the edge and twist it in this place, getting a small “sausage”.

We make a second twist of the same type and twist both elements with the main one.

Twist a small little bubble.

We measure four fingers and twist them.
We repeat the previous steps. We pierce the rest of the main element and tie a tail.

It turns out one tier of the future Christmas tree.

Now our not very appetizing sausage will be equal to 4 fingers.

And we also make the bubble larger than in the previous tier.

By repeating all the steps, we obtain a tier of different sizes from each SDBM. We connect them in series using the remaining tails.

We make 4 small bubbles from the red ShDM. Three of them are connected to each other by twisting.

We make 4 more bubbles, connecting the last three together. In this way we create a five-pointed star. We twist the last ball, tear off the rest for the tail very carefully (we need the inflated rest of the ball) and tie the structure together.

From the inflated remainder we twist two bubbles, connect them together, now we will burst the rest of the ball and get a tail. This tail will serve as a connecting link for the center of the star. You can hang decorations on the Christmas tree.

We inflate the ShDM for beads: we twist the bubbles sequentially. We attach the upper part to the star and stretch it to the base of the Christmas tree. So, we decorate the entire tree sequentially.

How to make a hanging tree from Christmas balls

The finished hanging tree made of balls resembles a real New Year's tree in shape.
This decor is attached to the ceiling, Christmas tree toys fall down. The similarity with a tree is added by balls hanging at different levels. The lower tier is placed in a circle so that it looks like the base of a Christmas tree. To make a Christmas tree from balls you will need:

  • a piece of thick fabric 50x50 cm, we recommend linen or plain cotton;
  • hoop with a clamp with a diameter of 30 cm;
  • compass;
  • skein of fishing line 150 m;
  • tape measure or centimeter;
  • green beads and needles;
  • Christmas balls, diameter - 40–60 mm.

Choose balls of New Year's colors. Combine green and silver balls, dark green and light green with sparkles, red and gold. You can take colorful Christmas tree toys.

For an original Christmas tree, choose balls of different diameters. Take 55 toys: the decor will be shaped like spruce, you will get a dense composition with minimal gap. Product height - 120 cm.

Instead of fabric and hoops, you can use a barbecue grill or for steam cooking, instead of fishing line - thin chains.

  • Place the fabric in the hoop and pull it tightly. The cut should be elastic and not sag. Find the center on the fabric: to do this, draw two diameters in arbitrary places. Their intersection is the center.
  • Using a compass, pierce the central point and draw six concentric circles. Start with the largest diameter, then move to the smaller one. The distance between the circles is 3.5 cm.

  1. Tie thick threads to the hoop in seven places - this is the attachment of the future tree from New Year's balls. Choose thick yarn that can withstand the weight of 50 Christmas balls. Hang the base to the place where the Christmas tree will be located. It’s easier to create a silhouette of the decor, the line won’t get tangled.
  2. Place marks around the circles with a compass where the Christmas tree decorations will hang. In the first round - 1 ball, in the second - 3, in the third - 7, in the fourth - 11, in the fifth - 15, in the sixth - 18.
  3. Now measure out the required amount of fishing line. Consider the distance between each tier - 20 cm. Hang the head on a piece of fishing line 15-20 cm long.

Now let's cut the fishing line:

  • for the first circle - 27 cm;
  • for the second - 45 cm;
  • for the third - 63 cm;
  • for the fourth - 80.5 cm;
  • for the fifth - 98.5 cm;
  • for the sixth - 120 cm.

To prevent the pieces from getting mixed up, straighten them and tape them to the table.

  1. Pass the fishing line through the eye of the ball and tie a knot. Insert a needle into the free edge, pierce the fabric in the place where the ball should be located. Pass the fishing line 2-3 cm above the surface, insert one or two beads, tie a knot. Check if the ball is holding tightly.
  2. Do the same with the rest of the New Year's decor. If you are not satisfied with their position, slightly pull the balls by the fishing line and fix them again. The beads will help you avoid searching for the problem area blindly.
  3. We recommend immediately collecting the tree where it will hang. The fishing line gets tangled with each other, and the structure will lose its shape during transportation.
  4. A tree made of balls on a fishing line turns out to be floating. Additional decor is not needed: it will overload the composition. Place several packages with gifts below to complete the look of the craft.

The tree of balls on the ceiling is ready. It won’t be possible to save it until the next New Year: before the holiday you need to install a new one. You can use the same hoops and toys; prepare new pieces of fishing line.

Combined Christmas tree: how to make toys for such a beauty?

A Christmas tree made of balls, decorated with small balls, looks interesting. The whole difficulty is how to connect them to each other.

Makes wonderful decorations for the New Year

Nobody demands that the base color be green.

Let's try to make such a beauty

What do you need for work?

We will need 50 balloons for a structure height of 220 cm in sizes 5″, 9″ and 12″, a hand pump, many small inflatable balloons for decoration, and a foil star.

Let's see how to make a Christmas tree out of balloons with your own hands in the video:

Openwork souvenir made of threads and tinsel

Transparent lace patterns made from yarn look very unusual.
Therefore, if you are still thinking about how to make a Christmas tree on the wall from tinsel and garland with your own hands using step-by-step photos, then you will need to be patient. The work is as follows:

  1. On a cone-shaped frame, the threads are moistened with PVA glue (cream and Vaseline are also suitable).
  2. After drying, the base must be carefully removed.
  3. Lightly decorate the resulting item with thin tinsel.

Such a New Year tree will decorate the New Year's table and can be used as a toy, souvenir, gift, or even as a lampshade for a small holiday lamp. And on the wall it can look doubly original, especially if you decide to hang it next to your main tree.

Thus, learning how to make a Christmas tree from tinsel and garland is quite simple. You can easily decorate not only a wall with it, but also any other part of your home if you place it on some kind of frame. The classic way is to arrange tinsel in the shape of a Christmas tree and secure it with tape. However, your imagination will probably give you more original ideas.
