Fill rubber gloves with cement mortar. We give the workpiece the desired shape and tie four fingers with knots. The thumb will act as the chicken's neck.
When the workpiece is dry, remove the rubber shell. Then we “increase” the volume using cement mortar (but without polystyrene foam). We make the wings, comb and tail feathers.
After the solution has dried, we process the figure with sandpaper, removing any irregularities on the body. Then all that remains is to paint.
New Year's gifts rooster and hen in tilde style

7. A few tricks when creating the paws of a cockerel and a hen. First you need to estimate the approximate size of the paw (required!). Now you should iron a small piece of fabric as in the photo below.
Now you need to fold the fabric so that the bent strips match and sew. You will end up with a sewn piece of fabric with an ironed seam. Afterwards, apply the paw pattern so that the dotted line is clearly on the seam (see photo).
Now we outline and stitch the legs (without leaving any holes).

8. Next, we insert the legs of the tilde rooster into the paws and secure it with hidden stitches, but you can glue it carefully if the toy is miniature.
9. Next, we sew the legs into the body of the New Year's gift of the cockerel. How is up to you. Just make sure that the length of both legs is the same. With dense padding, the toy fits perfectly on the feet.
