Smartphones in the car: to stand and not fall
No one will argue that smartphones and tablets are convenient. With outstanding functionality, they make many aspects of our lives easier and take on a number of tasks that previously took a lot of effort and time. All three models have the same tablet clamp; it can accommodate devices ranging in size from 123 to 190 mm. When you press the silver buttons on the end, the lower part slides out on the rack. The upper part is fixed on a spring and adjusts to the size of the device. If the tablet is small, then there is no need to pull out the bottom part. It is important to note that small tablets cannot be installed in these models, since their height is less than the minimum clamp size. Just like the holders described above, these three models have rubber inserts with a bevel inside the clamp that securely hold the tablet.
Why do you need a phone holder?
With a phone holder, you won't have to spend a lot of time looking for your mobile device. It will also be reliably protected. Wire fastenings
This is the most common option. To make it, you will need medium-hard wire, pliers, and a little ingenuity. In the simplest version, two hooks are made that are attached to the dashboard. To do this, holes are drilled in it. The tablet or phone is simply placed on the hanging hooks. A minor design flaw is the instability of the tablet. When braking sharply, it may tip over, which will negatively affect its technical characteristics.
To prevent this from happening, it makes sense to complicate the design. To do this, we make not 2, but 4 hooks, they are positioned in such a way that they are located on top of each other, and calmly hold the tablet on both sides. For greater rigidity, both hooks are connected to each other. As a result, it turns out quite something like a shelf. It is attached in the manner described above. In a similar way, you can use a “spider” holder, part of its legs is attached to the deflector, and the other holds a phone or tablet.
How to do it yourself?

Homemade holders can be of three types:
- spoiling the interior;
- not durable;
- representing a whole work of art that requires real skill.
We take the binder, remove the staples, bend them so that a holder is formed, wrap them with thread and place them in their original place, securing them with an ordinary rubber band. All that remains is to attach a simple device to the air duct. The phone is attached securely. The only negative is that the phone cannot be quickly removed from the holder.
From wire
In order to attach a phone to a wire holder, you will have to sacrifice the integrity of the front panel of the cabin, since holes will need to be drilled on it. The holder is made from strong wire, bending it accordingly and inserting it into the holes. The phone must be firmly attached to the holder.
Aluminum stand
It takes a little effort to make a stand out of aluminum. In any hardware store you can inexpensively purchase connecting tubes with angles of 45 and 90 degrees, as well as an aluminum pipe with a diameter of 47 mm. You will also need ice cream sticks and an old phone case.
You can start creating the holder after you have determined the place where it will be located. Now the necessary measurements are made. The pipe is cut into three parts. The short part is attached to a 45 degree angle tube. The horizontal part is held in 45 and 90 degree angle tubes. The longest part - a vertical pipe, 10 - 13 cm long, will hold the stand.
For greater strength, all fasteners are first lubricated with glue. A couple of cuts should be made in the case into which the ties are inserted. The cuts are on the tube. A long pipe is tied together with ties. Wooden sticks are glued between the aluminum pipe and the cover. The final stage is attaching the connecting tube to the car.

The simplest holder is a design for the steering wheel with silicone loops. The adjustable bracket on the panel into which the gadget is inserted is distinguished by the fact that it is compact and the phone is easy to install. Another very simple holder is a ball on a magnet.
Designer coasters are made from various materials and have different shapes - it all depends on the creativity of the artist. For example, there is a lawn on a plastic stand and a phone holder at the bottom.
The gadget holder can be made as an elegant wooden stand. For example, in the form of a tree with a hollow or improvised stumps. A neat wooden stand with randomly placed slots where a mobile phone can be inserted will look original.

Things to remember
- When installing the holder (especially if it is installed on the dashboard on a bracket), we must not forget about safety precautions. - A tablet built into the front seat headrest could cause injury to the rear passenger.
