In a country sauna you can use very hot steam. When the board takes the desired configuration (according to the template), secure it in the same way so that it cools and retains the desired shape. Before bending boards, consult an experienced carpenter: which side should you bend on? If you bend it the wrong way, the wood will crack.

The covering starts from the bottom, the sides are assembled separately, then first you attach one side to the bottom, then the second, install the rear, connect the sides at the bow.

Each top board should overlap each bottom board. This is how wooden houses are sheathed so that water does not flow into the cracks.

Don’t try to make a lake liner – up to 2.5 meters long is enough. The parts are fastened with nails, self-tapping screws, flexible metal strips (stainless steel or duralumin), inside with bars along the length, width and height, as well as cross-bar boards. They will also serve as seats.

The boat is ready. Rope loops are sewn along the edges and secured with rivets for ease of movement with oars.

Homemade inflatable boat from an inner tube

For the camera from the rear wheel of the Belarus tractor, I sewed a cover from a tarpaulin with a fabric bottom, inserted a removable plywood floor inside, and adjusted the keycaps. The result is an excellent inflatable boat that is not afraid of sharp stones, shells, and reeds. In addition, such a homemade inflatable boat can be used for many years, because a broken tube can be easily replaced with a new one.
For the cover, it is best to use a material that does not rot in water (nylon or lavsan). You can also use tarpaulin, raincoat fabric or canvas, pre-soaked with hot drying oil or other waterproof solution that you can prepare yourself. I recommend the following recipe: dissolve 10 parts wood glue, 1 part calcium dichloride, 3 parts vinegar essence in 90 parts water. The cover must be soaked in the solution and dried without squeezing.

To keep the bottom of the inflatable boat dry, it is necessary to place a waterproof plastic film, oilcloth, etc. under the plywood floor, and lift its edges up and attach it to the cover. To stitch the fabric, use threads no thinner than No. 20; each connection should be stitched at least twice, and the bottom - with three rows of seams, spaced 1 cm from each other.

Probably, many amateur fishermen dream of owning their own boat. Not everyone can buy a boat in a store, since it is still expensive. Making a real boat is not an easy task, and delivering it to distant fishing spots is not easy: you need special transport. I will introduce amateur fishermen to the construction of a simple boat that you can make yourself at home. The proposed boat consists of two inner tubes from a ZIL car (1,2) and a folding wooden frame (3). To build a boat, you can use used inner tubes.

The frame is made of pine boards. First of all, you need to purchase car cameras. Then prepare boards of the following sizes: 1600x120x20=2 pcs., 750x120x20=5 pcs., 750x60x20=2 pcs., drill six holes with a diameter of 10 mm in them in the places indicated in the figure; Drill two square holes (4) on one plank, which are intended for installing a fishing rod holder, and connect the four planks in pairs with window hinges. Make four eyes (5) for the straps, four eyes (6) for attaching the slats, two eyes (7) for attaching the chair and four tips (8) for the slats from 3 mm sheet iron and firmly attach them to the planks with screws (see Fig. rice.).

After this, cover all the wooden planks with drying oil and, after it is absorbed into the wood and dries, paint the planks with green oil paint. When the paint has dried sufficiently, attach pairs of planks to the left longitudinal long plank, and one plank to the right one with rivets so that they rotate on an axis within 180°. The opposite ends of these planks are secured with bolts and wing nuts when assembling the boat. To connect the wooden frame with the inner tubes, prepare four textile belts (9) each 70-80 cm long.

Make a folding chair (10) for the seat and a machine (11) for fishing rods and fit them on the frame so that it is convenient to use them. The chair must be secured to the frame as shown in the figure so that it does not fall into the water. To prevent dropped objects from falling into the water, the frame of the boat can be covered with a piece of burlap, which can simultaneously serve as wrapping material for cameras and fishing gear when transporting them. To pump air into the chambers you need to have a special pump.

Don't forget to make a small oar and prepare a rope for the anchor. That's all that needs to be done for the future boat. This boat can only be used by one person on shallow waters and rivers with calm currents. When fishing, the boat must be anchored (a stone) or secured with a pole, which you must have with you. The boat is designed so that it can be transported on a bicycle or carried by hand, for which the folded frame (12) is tied to the bicycle frame, and the lowered inner tubes are tied to the trunk.

Assembling the boat

Having secured the plywood to the side structures, you can proceed to strengthening the angles between the sides and the bottom. They do this using wooden corners, then move on to sealing the seams.
